INTER SET TO SEAL MOVE FOR PORTO’S MEHDI TAREMI

Serie A league leaders Inter are set to seal a move for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi in the summer.

Taremi has long been touted as a target for the Nerazzurri, with the striker’s contract at the Portuguese club running out in the summer transfer window.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Porto have received official communication from Inter that they are speaking to Taremi, suggesting that they will sign the Iranian in the summer on a free transfer. Between Taremi and Inter, everything has practically been agreed and Taremi will soon sign the contract.

The likelihood is that the contract will be signed in the international break in March, as it will give enough time for Inter to sort everything out. The last few details of the deal will be sorted out either at that point or in the build-up to the signing of the contract and while Inter could’ve signed him earlier, they kept Porto’s Champions League commitments in mind and are happy to wait.
