Choose your Barclays Manager of the Month

November 3, 2023

Help decide who out of Arteta, Emery, Klopp and Postecoglou wins October’s award

The nominees for October 2023’s Barclays Manager of the Month award have been revealed, and you can help to decide the winner.

Voting is open until 12:00 GMT on Monday 6 November for you, the fans, to vote for your favourite out of Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, Jurgen Klopp and Ange Postecoglou.

The fans’ votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be revealed next week.

October Barclays Manager shortlist

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)

Arteta outwitted his old master Pep Guardiola as Arsenal beat Manchester City in a battle of last season’s top two, with three of his substitutes combining for the winning goal. He then oversaw an impressive 2-2 comeback draw at Chelsea before his team achieved a 5-0 victory over of Sheffield United.

Unai Emery (Aston Villa)
Victories over West Ham United and Luton Town extended Villa’s home winning run to 12 matches, after a 1-1 draw at Wolves, leaving Emery’s side fifth in the table.

Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)
Klopp’s Liverpool are in the top four after 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Everton and Nottingham Forest respectively, following a 2-2 draw with Brighton.

Ange Postecoglou (Spurs)
The only manager to win all of his October matches, Postecoglou is aiming for a third monthly award in a row, a feat no manager has achieved at the start of their Premier League career, after victories over Luton, Fulham and Crystal Palace kept his side top and continued their best start to a Premier League season.
