Sanson features for Nice in Ligue 1

Morgan Sanson featured for OGC Nice in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The midfielder played the full 90 minutes as his side drew for the third consecutive game, holding Lyon to a 0-0 draw.

In the Championship, Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Finn Azaz started for Plymouth Argyle against Birmingham City.

The duo, who were substituted late on, watched from the bench as Jay Stansfield netted an injury time winner for Blues as they snatched a 2-1 win. 

There was also late drama in League One as Viljami Sinisalo’s Exeter City continued their fine start to the campaign.

The Grecians bagged a stoppage time winner of their own to beat Reading 2-1, seeing them move into second place in the table.

Lamare Bogarde came on for the final 25 minutes as Bristol Rovers were beaten 2-1 at home by Wycombe Wanderers.

Louie Barry was also on the losing side with Stockport County in League Two despite netting his second goal of the season.

The striker’s sixth-minute opener was one of five goals as Mansfield Town prevailed 3-2.
