Liverpool linked with Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie

Liverpool are interested in signing Franck Kessie from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Liverpool like Kessie and are considering a move for the midfielder. However, the Ivory Coast international is not their first-choice midfielder.

Sport has added that Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are also keen on securing the services of Kessie. Italian giants Juventus have made an official offer. While Kessie is willing to leave Barcelona this summer, he has asked the La Liga champions to let him choose where he would like to go.

Kessie made seven starts and 21 substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona last season, scoring one goal and giving one assist in the process. The midfielder made three starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Barcelona last season. Kessie scored one goal in those matches.
