July 31, 2023

Kim Min-jae appeared in Bayern Munich’s friendly match against Kawasaki Frontale held in Tokyo last Saturday.
It was Kim’s first match since joining the German team.
He delivered an impressive performance not only in defense but also in attack during the first 45 minutes until he was replaced by Dayot Upamecano in the second half. Bayern won the match 1-0.

Earlier this month Kim signed a five-year contract with Bayern until 2028. Munich did not disclose details of the contact with Kim, but he will reportedly earn an estimated 12 million euros a year.
