Jude Bellingham scores his first goal for Real Madrid, he caught Andre Onana off his line
Jude Bellingham has scored an audacious chip against Manchester United to mark his first goal for Real Madrid.
The young Englishman scored his maiden goal for his new side in their pre-season game against United.
There was more than a hint of offside as the midfielder made the run behind the Red Devils’ defence, however, the goal stood.
Collecting the ball just outside the box, Bellingham produced a delicious dink over Andre Onana and into the back of the net.
It signalled a horrid few minutes for United who saw their promising young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo leave the field with an injury.
It’s the first goal conceded by Onana who is making his debut for United in the pre-season friendly.
The new signing found himself stranded between Bellingham and the goal and the 20-year-old showed enough class to turn the opportunity into a goal.
Replays later showed that Bellingham was indeed offside, but with no VAR in the game, the goal stood.
It’s the new signing’s first goal since his £88m transfer to the Spanish side.
