Mauricio Pochettino tells Chelsea to sign Sadio Mane

Chelsea want to sign Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Bayern are open to selling the former Liverpool forward at the end of the season, and that Mauricio Pochettino, who is set to become the new head coach of Chelsea, has told his impending bosses that he wants to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Mane has failed to make a huge impact at the Allianz Arena this season, although it must be noted that he has had injury problems. The Senegalese star joined Bayern from Liverpool in the summer of 2022.

The 31-year-old former Liverpool forward has made 17 starts and five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in the process. Mane has made six starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this campaign, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.
