Bryan Cristante to fill in for Chris Smalling versus Milan

Bryan Cristante is expected to be used as a central defender in Roma’s upcoming Serie A affair with Milan.

Following the defeat in Bergamo, the Giallorossi must immediately turn their attention to the reigning champions with limited availabilities in the backline as a result of Chris Smalling and Diego Llorente’s injuries.

According to Il Tempo, Jose Mourinho is likely to rely on Bryan Cristante as a central defender with Marash Kumbulla being the first option off the bench and the only remaining centreback on the roster.
